Cold & Cozy Chic

It’s 2017 and I’m back to school, back to bearing that cold Chicago weather. This layered look is a good way to keep warm underneath your puffy jacket, wool coat, or any other jacket that you’re rocking this season! Wool skirts are a great way to pull off a skirt in colder temperatures. With tights underneath and some thigh high boots, wearing a skirt doesn’t seem so scary in 20 degree weather. I kept the top simple and went with a grey full sleeve knit top. I love combining grey, white, and black together in the winter. Quite honestly my entire wardrobe consists of these three colors. The blanket scarf is great for keeping warm and also for adding another pattern to the look. The plaid skirt and striped scarf compliment each other because they still share a similar pattern and similar colors. I love accessorizing with a beanie hat and some sunglasses for the rare sunny days in the winter. This look is simple and timeless but still incorporate some of my favorite new looks such as thigh high boots, wrap around bracelets, and blanket scarfs. Make sure to add a jacket to this look, hopefully this gives you some motivation to keep up with your style even in the more gloomy months of the year!
