Emerald CHIC

Summer is the perrfect time to rock bright pops of color! This look immediately draws your eye, as it is dominated by black, allowing the emerald green top to act as a splash of color. This lace, long-length crop top pairs perfectly with a pair of black palazzo pants. I have been loving the palazzo pant trend for these warmer months. It’s a great, flowy look that can be the star of the show if you rock patterned palazzos, but can also be muted down with neutral colors, allowing other pieces to shine. Palazzos are like maxi skirt 2.0’s, allowing for a more sleek look and…this is the best part…they let you breathe! Hallelujah, I know.    Shoutout to my black floppy hat which, not only, acted as a CHIC accessory, but protected me from the boiling hot sun that day. I accented this outfit with a tribal-looking gold necklace, a black and gold cuff, and a thick-banded ring. All this, along with a pair of strappy brown sandals and a clutch, and my look was complete. This look can also seamlessly go from day to night, which is another reason why I love it! Dress it up, or dress it down, as you like, but this outfit is a summer go-to for sure!

Where am I?

These photos were taken on a bridge behind our old high school in Naperville. It was so much fun to revisit old memories when we went to shoot these pics. Hopefully we can continue to give you snippets of our hometown life, in the suburbs of Chicago, to show you where we grew up!
